ARCHIVE SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE  ALL YEAR ROUN

A New On line index of the documents we  hold in the Maltings is now available to all. Please use the link below to access the records

https://archiveshub.jisc.ac.uk/

If you  then click on the "0ver 390 Institutions" link near the top of the page, and then scroll down to Cramond Heritage Trust.  That brings up our page, where the link under Collections takes you on to the Index.  On the right is listed the full set of our main categories - click on the +sign to expand them.  Whatever is highlighted on the right (i.e. by clicking it) is described in the main box.  This includes the listing of the various individual items.

Our Archives have been painstakingly created over a 40 year period and contain a rich vein of archaeological information, copies of historical documentation and genealogical records for the ancient parish of Cramond right up to recent planning issues and restoration initiatives.

Our Archivist team would be happy to provide more information on a specific subject and if more detailed information is needed for research purposes an appointment to view the records can be arranged.

Most of our photographic and pictorial history has now been digitised and it too can be searched for relevant information.

Our Archive team are currently working on a digital index of our records for easier access. If you are interested in helping or would like to support the work please contact us at admin@cramondheritage.org.uk
