We are managed by 12 volunteer trustees and run all our services with an additional team of nearly 50 volunteers who steward our Exhibition Centre, maintain and update our exhibits and building, and squirrel away anything with a sniff of Cramond content into our extensive Archive records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From April 2024 we opened up our membership to anyone with an interest in the work of our Charity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Membership entitles you to regular newsletters, and a voice at the AGM to influence policy and elect our board of Trustees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is no membership fee to join however you do have to be over 18. IF you wish to join please send a request into our contact us<\/a> page with your name address and email address and we will add you to our circulation list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n WE NEED VOLUNTEERS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We rely fully on Volunteers to provide our services. INTERESTED?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We will be running training programmes during MARCH AND APRIL 2025 for Stewards to staff the Exhibition Centre at weekends during the summer months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A day’s duty is from 2pm to 5pm – welcoming visitors, explaining the layout of the exhibition, selling publications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n No previous experience is necessary but an interest in the extensive history of our village and BEING a welcoming host for our visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
